Dr. Biro to begin Fulbright Fellowship

We are delighted to share with you that one of the winners of the travel fellowship, Dr. Zsofia Biro, has been elected to been elected to membership of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) and she will begin a Fulbright Fellowship at the Center for Air and Space Law at The University of Mississippi  in Oxford MS, USA, in January, 2026.

MTA200 Anniversary Symposium held in May, 2025 are:

Eszter Bajtai (Semmelweis University, 2nd Dept. of Pathology, Budapest) 

  • Application title: Therapy-induced senescence is a transient drug resistance mechanism in breast cancer. 

Zsófia Biro (University of Pecs, School of Law, Department of Technology and Energy Law) 

  • Application title:  Great Ambitions but Lack of Regulation: The Challenges of Regulating Nuclear Power Sources in the Light of Technological Developments and Safety Reasons in Outer Space.

Barbara Fülöp (University of Pecs, Department of Pharmacology)   

  • Application title: How does chronic psychosocial distress induce pain?
